Go away this bad habit...

Second post for today.. Hoho.. While waiting at my office expecting some students might need help today, I continue blogging la... Hehe.. This is about foods.

Malaysian had an unhealthy way of eating... Imagine we wake up in the morning we start with nasi lemak or roti canai.. It not simply nasi lemak or roti canai.. plus extra dishes such as nasi lemak plus ayam rendand or fried chicken or roti canai plus chicken curry or mutton curry... OMG! My mouth watering already... Haha

Then at 10 am we continue with "kuih-kuih" or sometime heavier dish such as "mee sup or soto"... That's in the morning, continue in the midday- we can have "nasi kandar", or "nasi ayam" or sometimes arabian rice... If we get bored with rice we can go western such as spaghetti, or lasagna or pizza... Or else just go to fast food outlet- McDonalds, KFC, A&W, Burger King and many more...

It not just that.. Then 430 to 5 pm.. There come tea time... But it was never TEA.. It always come with other dishes such  fried banana, cucur udang alor gajah (famous one... delicious!!), curry puff... and many more... Tea also got many variants such as ice tea, milk tea, lemon tea, peach tea, garlic tea...

Haha.. Continue at the night- for family they might eat rice prepared by the powerful chef called mother... But for the traveler just like me who are far far away from my family- where to go?? Again fast food can give a faster and delicious service... Or maybe to other stall like tomyam stall - imagine the tomyam, or "sup tulang", the "wrapped egg"... Or maybe we can go western... Many choice... Don't ever say that your place got no place to eat! How silly you are, that show you are just lazy to walk around... Hahaha... No offense! Does it stop there?????? NO!!!!!! There are also supper! People don't take lot during supper.. Maybe hot chocolate or simply milk...

But if there is a football game at the early morning, if we watch it outside usually at mamak stall or mcd there will be more foods inside our tummy! Or if stay at home, there will be some snacks- Mamee, Mister Potato... Hoho... Imagine how many time you eat per day???????? Almost 7 meals per day! That's why Malaysian obese had increase every day!!!!! Speaking to myself also.. Huhu...

This is a very bad eating habits... Full of oils, unwanted fats and cholestrol!! I am no foods experts but it just get back to me... Sometime it feel really hard to wake up early.. Always sleepy after lunch.. No exercises.. Sometime exercise but the food taken after exercise exceeds the calories burn! Haha... Too lazy everyday.. Always tired and many more.. Just like my beloved bubuyat... sleeping and sleeping...

What actually cause overweight??? Do you know?? It is the calories! Too much calories in your blood system can increase your blood pressure which if too strong can cause stroke or heart attack! We do we get these calories??? It is not only from SUGAR that we used everyday.. It also comes in others sources for example rice... Fruits that we eat everyday also contains calories but it was not that much... Please correct me if I am wrong...

It is true that there are lots of slimming product as well as slimming institute nowadays.. If you are rich then it was never a problem... But is there any side effect? I am not really sure la... The best way is the natural way... Lately people started to realize the importance of controlling foods intake.. It is a good scenario!

Here are article I copied from other sources :

When you are overweight, it can be tempting to want to lose weight as quickly as possible. Crash diets and extreme exercise programs may be popular, but they are not always safe and don't usually lead to long-term weight loss. The most effective way to lose weight in a natural, safe way is gradually, through exercise and a healthy, low-calorie diet.

Goals

Losing weight is a matter of expending more calories than you consume. It takes an excess expenditure of 3,500 calories to lose 1 lb. of fat. The Mayo Clinic recommends starting a weight-loss program by cutting 500 calories a day from from your diet. Assuming you are consuming as many calories as you are expending on a daily basis, you will create a caloric deficit of 3,500 calories in a week --- a 1-lb. loss. It is recommended you lose no more than 2 lb. in a week, so the other pound should be shed through exercise. If you follow this recommendation, you can safely lose 8 to 10 lb. in a month. Keeping track of your caloric intake and expenditure in a journal will help keep you focused on your goal and aware of the choices you are making.

Eating a healthy diet and avoiding larger meals will keep your calories low, give you the proper nutrition you need and keep your metabolism regulated. The U.S. Department of Agriculture recommends eating fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains and low-fat dairy. Lean meats, poultry, fish, nuts and eggs are also recommended. Avoid foods high in fats, trans fats, cholesterol and added salt or sugar. Eat meals three to four hours apart to aid proper digestion.

Cardiovascular Exercise

Exercise will not only burn the calories needed to lose weight, it also helps reduce stress and boosts your metabolism. The American Council on Exercise recommends performing cardio exercise, such as running or jogging, for 45 minutes or more at a time five to six days a week to lose weight. The exercise should be intense enough that you sweat and your heart rate increases. Start by walking if you haven't exercised in more than a year. Gradually build your way up to move vigorous activity.

Strength Training

Strength training, such as lifting weights, won't burn as many calories as cardio, but it will build much-needed muscle. Muscle burns more calories than fat, and the more muscle you have, the higher your resting metabolism will be. Do strength training at least twice a week on nonconsecutive days. Work each major muscle group -- chest, abdominals, biceps, triceps, hamstrings and quadriceps. Do one set of eight to 12 repetitions for each group. For example, do one set of bench presses or one set of pushups to work the chest. Once you are stronger, you can increase the sets and amount of weight or resistance.

Considerations

Consult a doctor before beginning any weight-loss regimen. Avoid very-low-calorie diets and extreme exercise programs. Crash diets can force your body into starvation mode. Your body will slow down its metabolism, meaning fewer calories are burned, and will take needed calories from fat instead of muscle. Many people go on eating binges after an extreme diet, which often negates any previous weight-loss. Extreme exercise programs easily lead to burn out, and many people quit exercising altogether when this happens. The goal of 8 to 10 lb. a month may not seem like a lot, but the gradual loss will help you build healthy habits that will keep the weight off in the long-term.

All you need is just to cut off the calories intake.. It doesn't mean you are not eating at all but reduce the size... It might hard at first but "No Pain No Gain"! hahaha... Plus there are lots of nutrition foods out there such as Herbalife, Shaklee and many more... Dicipline is the most important things... Good luck to me and also to all of you...

Let's keep our body healthy!! Till next post..

Last Friday Night....

Last night I actually planned to sleep early after a tiring badminton game with my fellow friends... Actually lately I do not feel really tired after game, seems like only half of my stamina had been used.. Hoho... Looks like my stamina had increased a little by little... Thanks to my coach for the nutrition advised... Stamina had increased but... My weight seemed like stopped to decrease already... Huhu... Maybe I need to work harder!

Haha.. Enough with all the weight and stamina... It seemed that my sleeping plan was disturbed by my neighbour.. They are putting a very big "khemah" in front of their house plus also my house.. At first I tought it is just some "kenduri kahwin"... It's ok la... Then he asked me to come and suprisingly it was not "kenduri kahwin" but it is a meeting!!!! Haha.. What kind of meeting??? Smell like politics meeting lol.. Huhu... So in order to stay neutral I choose to run away that night.. Hahaha...

At first I went to my office.. Huhu.. Scary lol!! Reading all the journal at first, then after half an hour it get really boringgggggg.... Something much entertain must be done! Badminton again?? Not by a chance! Ermm... movies?? Good idea...

Me: Hello2 en Zakimi, jom tgk wayang...
Z: Citer ape?
Me: Joh carter le dude.. Nak???
Z: Gua on je beb, tp gua tak mandi lagi...

See???? Apo da ko ni dah pkul 9 tak mandi lagik.,.. Hahaha.. So by 930 we went to watch John Carter... Quiet ok la.. Not really fun but adventure movie, seems moved by the graphics, storyline, the suprise and many more... Ok la... Go to watch it la...

Then around 230 am I reached my house.. Hoho.. All the "khemah" already move out... Everyone already sleep... Yezza... That what great about living in a family neighbourhood... They sleep early and they wake up early... Hehehe...

Then today.. Wake up really late... huhu.. 945... Putting all the clothes in the washing machine... Waiting for the washing process to end... Trying the new comfort ultra... Hoho.. I have 4 types of fabric softener in my house.. Soflan, Daia, Downy and Comfort... Testing which is the best to maintain good smell of the my clothes....

Then go to office... Again... All bored day... But this evening we are going to my friend new house.. House warming... Hoho...

Till next post... Maybe in one hour... hehe

Some nice words....

Assalamualaikum...

This is cited from a journal I've read from morning till the evening... A very beautiful words with a very beautiful meaning... This statement is from a mouth of student... Believe me...

" The ability to understand is endless if you 'use your heart'...  If you really don't understand, just ask as quickly as possible..  If you say 'I hate it. I don't want to do it,' sure you can't understand it...  The feeling of understanding is so wonderful.  I've experience it... Failure is that you stay at the same stage, not stepping further.. "

Means... In order to survive in some field, you need to really understand what it is all about not only from the surface, but from the basis itself...  Most lecturer tends to say, you must understand this, memorize this, do lots of exercises... and many more... But do they ever told you the real story behind it? What actually the main purpose of you understanding some concept???

People were born with a very good mind.. Not just some meat brain but a powerful one that can analyze, understand and then interpret something... We were born with a talent, it only a matter of time before we can realize it... An information that we understand it so deep until the heart would understand will bring a very high impact to us..

People learn and people understand but not many people try to apply what they learn..

Till next post....

Research mode??

Assalamualaikum...

How your day today?? Good or bad?? Or simply just boring??? I know it's been a while since I am blogging.. Why? Busy la.. Hahaha.. Lame answer lol.. Actually I am not that busy.. Just sometime try to act busy so that people will see me working instead of going to supermarket, watching movies.... Hoho.. No offense!!..

My class this semester consist of 3 classes but a very small amount of student.. only 34 students.. Means??? I have lot of free time!!! Another responsibilty when you are an academician is to do a research... When the word research come out, what was in your mind??? It must be something like the picture below right???

Hoho.. But sorry guys.. I am not that kind of researcher.. Mine only consist of pen and paper and of course plus a calculator.. What do we Mathematicians do are, we do a re-search among existed information and then we manipulated the information change it into a Mathematical model... Lots of ways to do a Mathematical modelling such as using Laplace transform, Fourier transform, so numerical analysis, ODE, PDE and many more... Sound so easy but actually if your basic Maths is just so weak, your head might explode.. Huhu...

This is one quote from a website I found -->

Aha.. Isn't it was right?? That what was happen to me now... I am actually try to do something right now, but trust me, at the same time I am thinking... What the hell I am doing actually??? I don't understand anything I am writing... Mostly just from my observation, or simply my opinion.. But in research any opinion you gave, there must have a support from such as journal or research so that people will believe you... But I think the journal we cited also started with an opinion... Hahaha.. See?? What comes around goes around.... That what we call it as RE-Search...

Maybe I should continue my research.. Continue writing... Ops typing... But the flow seems too easy when blogging... Ideas just come and come... Not like research... 2 hours only 2 paraghraph... Haha.. When will my research will finish actually?? Huhu...

Wish me luck! Till next post....

To all pet owners...

Copy paste from Kucing Terbiar .... Quiet touching... Huhu..

To all pets owners :

1. Listen patiently to what our pets have to say.

2. Believe that our pets always on our side.

3. Play with them a lot.

4. Don’t forget that they have feelings too.

5. Never fight with them.

6. If they don’t obey us, they have good reasons.

7. We have friends, but they only have us.

8. Stay together thru thick and thin.

9. They only have ten years to live, so let’s make every moment count.

10. Never forget our time together with them. When their 'time' come, always be by their side.

Dissapointment...

Last night was a badminton tournament game among UiTM Melaka staffs... Lots and lots of participants, more than 20 double for men and 12 double for women... Me and my team were in group C.. Other members was Team Unit Kolej KBM and Pensyarah B... When I noticed that we have pensyarah team among us, I got shacky... Hahaha..

Damn! Why this university player was in my group... Adoi... The feeling of going back early was really high.. Huhu.. First game- with pensyarah B... Hahaha... Mampos la.... They actually not really that powerful only their physical appearance make us look very very big... Hahaha.. Both are very tall and fit la... Me and my teammate? Like BERUANG... Hahaha...

But the game turns to be so one sided.. They seal my smash.. So what more can I do... Actually to fight with people who love to play on the net, we need to have a good clearance... Just clear it to the end of court then if he start to hit to the net again just wait there and smash la... Just simple as that, but my idea wasn't reached my team mate... Maybe because we are lack of training....

Aha training... I actually prefer to relax about 2-3 days before games so that all the tiring muscle had a chance to recover.. But we actually train the night before from 11pm to 1 am.. And my class yesterday begin at 830am... Hahaha.. Not enough rest can reduced your stamina... That why at the second game, I really think we should win but stamina was the problem... Plus too much mistake!!!!

A very dissapointed game... Mistake! Mistake! It was a very closed game but luck was not on our side... Maybe next year I should remember this... huhu...

Till next post...

Experiment...

Hi guys!! How are you today?? Sleeping like this guy???

Not by a chance! It's Monday!!!!!!!!! And it's mean working.. Huhu...

Okay just want to share my experiments.. No some kind of physics or chemistry experiments in lab, just some cooking experiments in my little kitchen...

My first experiment... Fried vermicelli or bihun goreng bujang... At this time, I think too much fishball la.. Taste? Okla.. If you are hungry then it will be no problem.. Can you imagine the taste??? Hahaha

This is called nasik goreng campak2... Using fried rice paste by Adabi, then add some chicken fillet, cabbage, eggs then BOOMM!!!!!! Hahaha... Taste was better because I used fried rice paste...

Mixed tom yam using tomyam paste from Knorr.. Taste? Superb because I used tomyam paste.. Huhu...

This is called pale curry... Hahaha... taste quiet okla.. not really delicious... But if you are hungry, then bedal je la!! Hahaha.. Then I end up thrown up... Adeh... Failed experiment......

This is called ayam masak kicap.. My mom said " Senang je, hg goreng ayam, pastu hg tumis mcm biasa tp hg buh jintan... Pastu buh kicap pastu siap le..." So easy actually, but my mom didn't tell me not to put salt... It becomes ayam masak kicap super masin........ Hahaha... Can you imagine, soy sauce that already salty, plus the salty salt... Double the salty... Hahaha... I end up washing the chicken... Then give it to the cat outside... Huhu...

This is the latest... Last sunday... Sotong sambal or spice squid... This is the only experiment that went really well!! Really proud of myself... Hehehe.... After lot and lot of training now I can handle how much salt to put, how long to cook and how much ingredients to put.. Lucky me...

Actually I have tried others such as sambal ikan bilis + nasi lemak... Nasi lemak end up becomes nasi lemak lembek because too much santan... Hoho... And others la.. Fried fish, fried chicken, fried eggs I already master.. Hehehe...

Cooking is not that hard, only it takes lots of patient and passion to do it... My advice, don't cook with a hungry tummy, it will end up really bad... Trust me, I've tried it many times... Hehehe

Salam hormat buat semua,Uitm Melaka terpahat di hati… n proud to be student EPJJ 2004302093

Appreciation...

Appreciation... Simple word... But the meaning was so deep... How about you guys? Does it mean anything to you?? How far will you go in order to show your appreciation to someone or something?? How do you express your gratitute to someone?? Just a simple Thank You??? Or like this guys below?? A Monster Big of Thank You???

Sorry for this quiet boring post.. Just I think sometime people don't learn appreciation so much! They tend to simply say thank you to other people hardwork but does they really mean it??? Thank a lot! That's all they say.. Does their heart really meant it???????? Does they say it because of trend??? Or simply because they had some hidden agenda??

Appreciation can really changed people! It can create a friend and also enemies... How?? Someone who always say thank you, all the time... Whatever they get, the have, or they plan all followed by thank you... Of course you can get a lot of friends... But thanks without a heart that showing a true appreciation was simply nothing.. It seems like a bodek! Enemy are create based on jealous... This is the most problematic attitude!

Sometime thank you doesn't always show the appreciation.. Lots of other ways... Just like this children.. How do they show their parents their appreciation?? Of course la by good grade in exam... Or maybe by showing a very good behavior... Just as simple as that, but we know they are showing a full of  heart appreciation...

An employer who always appreciate their employee will boost up all the employees morale which will lead to profit... Lots of benefit from appreciation.. A students who appreciate their teacher for their grade or knowledge will get a bless from god which will help them to success in their life... A daughter who appreciate his father for all the sacrife he make will also get bless for her life... A farmer who appreciate his land, will get the best product ever from the land...

That's all for today.. It is good to appreciate with all our heart for people hardwork.. We didn't know what he had faced in order to make his work success... All we need is some warm and kind appreciation from people for our hardwork...

Till next post........

UiTM Melaka new building...

Another entry for today.. Hehe.. Our new building... Already used even tought not all the furniture was there, but still used... Ok la... So far so good la... Nice view here.. So relaxing.... Here are all the pictures I managed to snap... Hehehe.. Enjoy!

View from back side... How relaxing!! I really like mountain view with all the trees and this quiet hot breeze.. Hahaha
Another side... See? All are palm trees and rubber trees...

This at the back of the building... Cool right??

Another back view... This was taken while I was standing at the front of my car.. That why there are a black shining things in the picture.. Hehe

This was snap after my class this evening... From level 3.. Beautiful right?

Inside the building.. I heard a student said to her friend:- "Nape bangunan ni macam bangunan sekolah jek?" Hahaha.. This is called dah bagi betis nak peha... untungla awak tu dpt belajar bangunan baru.. demand lebih2 plak dah... Hantar g sabah baru tau... Just joking! Sabah was a beautiful place right? Hehe..

And this is the front view! Tangga-tangga menuju ke puncak!

This was taken at the bottom of the building... There should be something done at the center of the building.. Cafe or maybe student stall.. Anything la.. It feel like soo empty...

Another full front view... Quiet interesting...

This is view from my car when I am going back to my office.. Can you imagine students walking everyday to get to their class?? I think it would be nice if there any bus or shuttle or anything la.. Poor them right? What if it is raining?? Huhu.. Then many will absent, then the lecturer (who are so big headed and do not try to understand.. haha.. not me..) will get angry, then the student result?? fikir-fikir la...

Almost at the bottom.. There are roundabout here.. Hehe

Those who didn't come yet, feel free to visit la especially KBM lect... Korang ingat KBM je tinggi ke? hahaha... No offense!

p/s: I hope I can get an office here because most of my class are here.. Going up and down like everyday can cost lots of petrol la.. Huhu...

Till next post!

The Tiger Beat the Garuda!! Gold medal was still ours!

Last night was the final game between Malaysia and Indonesia.. It's been a really thight atmosphere between this two teams.. Malaysia's team want to maintain their gold medal, while Indonesia on the other hand are trying to win any game they fought with Malaysia... I seems like rivalry match but somehow the sport spirits must always in our heart for both team...

Malaysia fanatics seem more relaxed compared to our rival team... Please la.. this is football, the will be a winner and also a lost team... I am not going to use loser because the term loser is only for someone who did not fight, just give up and did not trying at all! Football, can be anything... Sometime we won, sometime we lost.. But don't just give up!

The game begin at 830 pm... Me and my only friend (Kimot) arrived at Mitc Melaka around 825 because it was raining really heavy! Other friends? They choose to stay home, eating KFC (ape barang oi!! tak sport lgsg la...).. hahaha no offense! We tought since it is raining, the crowd will be less, so we can sit la... OMG! It is FULLHOUSE!!!!!! Subaidah-FULL, NASI KANDAR at Mydin-FULL, Ayob-FULL, even at tomyam and asam pedas restaurant also FULL!!

Wow! I am gonna say that Malaysian had changed! They now support our national team with all their heart! The feeling and the respect plus pride makes everyone want to give their best support and pray! So, we decided to stay at Ayob hoping that Ayob will open the big screen when the rain stopped... Here the picture...

SEE??!!!!!!! We need to get our own space in  order we can watch it together... It is really happening! Everyone was taking part... When Malaysia attack, everyone shouting hoping for goal, when Indonesia attack, Hahaha.. Of course we are shouting also asking for the attach failed.. Hehe... Indonesia managed to score first but Malaysia seems to show their real gameplay after that... Attack, defend, attack until at the end they managed to get the equaliser!

And when the rain stopped.. Aha, they open the big screen.. Haha.. Feel spacier than ever la...

The game was dragged until the penalty-shot... Both team had been playing very well! But when it comes to penalty shot, now it is more about mentality... The crowd here are shouting the player's name when they are taking the penalty, and the goalkeeper, Apek when Indonesia turn.. Really happening!! Suddently I heard-- Ayuh! Ayuh! Adeh, how come an Indonesian supporter can be here?? But sport spirit bring us together... Hahaha.. But as expected... Khairul Fahmi managed to save the penalty! But Fakri failed to score! Adeh... At the end? Malaysia won la!! Good job Harimau Muda! We maintain our gold medal... That was the 59th gold medal in SEA games...

Almost everyone was standing at the last penalty by our team captain Baddrol... Hahaha... Malaysia team had showed their best effort! Indonesia also show a good game.. But at the end, there will be only one winner... Hehehe...

The celebration doesn't just end there.. All the way at MITC people are shouting Malaysia! Malaysia! Using the car horn! And also the motorcyclist gather all around at Jalur Gemilang shouting Malaysia Boleh! Superb celebration... This is football! It can gather people together...

Good Job Harimau Muda! So proud of you guys!!

Till next post...

New semester..

Salam to all! It is 4.59pm in the Friday evening... What? TGIF?? Not at all la... Why? This is the last Friday without class because this Monday the new semester will begin............. Lalala... Back to normal life.... Lecturing.. lecturing... lecturing....

Hahaha... So noisy la... Actually this is going to be a very tough semester... At the end of year... I almost forgot, this is the year where we have 3 semester... Too much to handle! As the result my leave still got 28 days left... Adoi!! So workaholic la you bro... Huhu.. What can I say... My free time was totally different from my family members, my friends... But you have colleague right?? Yes I do but they are ALL family man/woman! Hahaha.. No offense! Every week going back! Every free time back to home! At the end, here I am... Stucking at my rent house or at my office... Huhu...

But I already immune to this kind of situation.. I study at Skudai right! 7 hours from Ipoh.. So I don't really going back to my home that much.. Most of the time is at perantauan... Like P Ramlee song la... Dendang Perantau... Hahaha.. That's is the amount you have to pay if you choose to live too far away from your family.. But Melaka-Ipoh the distance got shorter, 3 hour 30 minutes driving only.. Hehe.. Still Far away!

Tough semester, why? First because I has to handle this Kem Motivasi next month.. Adoi, so laaaazzzzyyyy la this administration works! Hopefully I will not be assigned back la after this one... Another one is the new subject I have to teach---- Calculus 2... Difficult or not? Not really that difficult la but of course new subject means need to study la... Aiya malasnya!!!

Plus this semester I am not going to lost again la... Hahaha.. Enough with the talk asking me to stop doing that so that you are the one that are going to do it because I am getting that and you don't.. What am I talking??? HAhaha... But his semester.. No WAY!! I am going to fight back! Enough with all the gossiping, talking back to other people, pretending to be Mr Nice Guy or whatsoever! It will be a battlefield! Hahaha.. Sound so serious right???
