Dedicated to my friend...

Salam... This time I want to write in Malay... Dedicated to my friend yg baru sahaja kematian bapanya..

- Surah at-taubah ayat 51

I know it is hard for you and you might think I do not understand.. But trust me bro, life must go on.. You must move on! As a man we need to be strong... Doa seorang anak tu akan selalu sampai pada bapanya... Banyakkan berdoa dan sedekahkan Al-Fatihah dan Yassin pada arwah.. Insyaallah... I know you can do it man!

A very boring Sunday...

Less than half an hour left before it is Monday.. Next week! Yeehaww!! (copy from farmville fb.. haha).. Wake up early in the morning.. Doing laundry, clean my house and my car... Then just straight to Tesco to buy some "things".. Hehe... Actually it is because I feel bored to stay at home la... Huhu.. Here are pictures of my activities today...

MORNING : SHOPPING @ TESCO...

Buying this small spoiler for my BLM.. This is the one look-a-like the spoiler for BMW cars... Haha... Copy and paste it to my car... Somehow look beautiful for me! Hehe.. Feel so satisfied with it!

Another things that I bought from Tesco is this wardrobe.. Because my previous one looks broken and my shirt always fall.. Maybe the hang pole already broken.. So I decide to replace it and now I already had three wardrobe..

Then, after that I arrive at home, cook for my lunch and then at night plan to go out again la.. And this cute cat appear.. I know it belongs to my neighbor but it come to me begging for food maybe... Really love cat but if I buy one, I might cannot give it my full commitment la.. So just play with my neighbor cat only la.. Huhu...

So the plan at night just walk alone at the Dataran Pahlawan and Mahkota Parade searching for any souvenir for this Worldcup 2010.. Poorly, nothing can make me feel interested to buy it... So I decide to go to Baskin n Robbins try their ice-cream... This was my first time.. Huhu.. So delicious ma! That's why it is so expensive...

Then, stop to fill up my car tank and then go home... Now do not know what to do.. Maybe after ironing my clothes just go to sleep... Hehe... Tomorrow again.. kerja,, kerja.. kerja... -adios-

First Semester of Lecturing... DONE!!

Salam to all... It's been a while since I'm updating my blog... Somehow it kind a bit lazy for me to write something... Huhu... Plus the world cup 2010 mode somehow make me always sleepy.. My favorite team - Portugal! Last game with Ivory Coast was a little bit of disappointing but somehow there are still HOPE!

Enough with football... Pejam celik pejam celik... Now I'm already finish my first semester as a Math Lecturer! Wow! Somehow I manage to do it! Yeah! It's been a quiet tough semester for me.. Controlling a very hyper-active students(Not all..), marking assignments and quizzes, lecturing and also sometimes interfering with their problems either personal or not...

What can I see after one semester of teaching that bumiputera students should be more independent during their study not just leaning everything to their lecturer... Once I told my student to read on their own and the topic is out for the test... And of course it is there but they do not know how to do it because I'm not teaching them...Adoi! I've already told you to study sendiri la.. Haha.. So next sem... New lecturing style since I'm already attending the Kursus Asas Pengajaran... Maybe la kot... Hahaha

What about their result for final exam? Huhu.. There are few students who are fail... I've already try everything to help them but they did not perform very well during their final exam... My principle was easy.. If they can do well in their final.. I will help them even tough if their carry marks was very very bad... So apa boleh buat... Next sem make sure you learn from your mistakes!

Plus also since I'm teaching math kot... Who likes math? Even I as the lecturer sometimes really hate Math especially the pure math... hahaha.. no offense.. I only like applied math je... hehehe... Students tend to dislike a subject if they did not score... but if they score they will love it... So as a Math lecturer what can I do.. Terima je la seadanya.. Hahaha... I try to give them a happy go lucky teaching style so that students will not afraid of me during class...

It's true la! During my study, I've once afraid of my lecturer because he/she was too serious during his lecture.. All he do was talk and talk and talk... If someone ask he will somehow become angry (bukan marah gile la... mcm nak marah...) so.. cannot ask la.. just hearing.. huhu.. Based on this la I plan to be more friendly to my students.. Yes! It works.. Many students come to me after class asking for help.. So as the generation-X lecturer (hahahaha) I'm going to continue my teaching style.. friendly and cool! hahaha poyo gile ah!

Enough with that.. Here are a snap my students take during my lecturing.. Hahaha.. Bile mase korg tgkap gmbr ni... Btw thanks la.. I always want to see me during lecturing..
-adios- GO PORTUGAL!!

Greenday song about 21...

These are two awesome song from Greenday about 21... PLAY IT LOUD!!! ENJOY!!

Greenday - 21 Gun

Do you know what's worth fighting for?
When it's not worth dying for?
Does it take your breath away and you feel yourself suffocating?
Does the pain weigh out the pride?
And you look for place to hide?
Did someone break your heart inside, you're in ruins
One, 21 Guns
Lay down your arms
Give up the fight
One, 21 Guns
Throw up your arms into the sky
You and I ...
When you're at the end of the road
And you lost all sense of control
And your thoughts have taken their toll
When your mind breaks the spirit of your soul
Your faith walks on broken glass and the hangover doesn't pass
Nothing's ever built to last, you're in ruins
One, 21 Guns
Lay down your arms
Give up the fight
One, 21 Guns
Throw up your arms into the sky
You and I ...
Did you try to live on your own?
When you burned down the house and home?
Did you stand too close to the fire?
Like a liar looking for forgiveness from a stone
When it's time to live and let die
And you can't get another try
Something inside this heart has died, you're in ruins
One, 21 Guns
Lay down your arms
Give up the fight
One, 21 Guns
Throw up your arms into the sky
You and I ...

Greenday - 21st Century Breakdown

Born into Nixon I was raised in hell
A welfare child
Where the teamsters dwelled
The last one born
The first one to run
My town was blind from refinery sun
My generation is zero
I never made it
As a working class hero
21st Century Breakdown
I once was lost but never was found
I think I am losing
What's left of my mind
To the 20th century deadline
I was made of poison and blood
Condemnation is what I understood
Videogames of the towers fall
Homeland security
Could kill us all
We are the class of '13
Born in the era of humility
We are the desperate in the decline
Raised by the bastards of 1969
My name is no one
The long lost son
Born on the 4th of July
Raised in the era of heroes and cons
That left me for dead or alive
I am a nation
A worker of pride
My debt to the status quo
The scars on my hands
And the means to an ends
Is all the that I have to show
I swallowed my pride
And I choked on my faith
I've given my heart and my soul
I've broken my fingers
And lied through my teeth
The pillar of damage control
I've been to the edge
And I've thrown the bouquet
Of flowers left over the grave
I sat in the waiting room
Wasting my time
And waiting for judgement day
I praise liberty
The "freedom to obey"
Is the song that strangles me
Well don't cross the line
Dream, America dream
I can't even sleep
From the light's early dawn
Scream, America scream
Believe what you see
From heroes and cons

Lecture and Lecturer

Hi all!! It's been a very long time since my last post.. What can I say, so damn busy (I skipped lunch sometimes! huhu)... My previous post was about my new job a lecturer at UiTM Melaka.. So, here I am, almost like 3 weeks already.. First day was so excited, I feel like jumping until I enter the first class! Haha...

What did I feel? Only GOD knows.. Huhu.. Opening the class door, and just say Salam to the students... Then, I begin to introduce myself, after that I asked my students to introduce themselves.. Poor them, I actually had a very bad memories of memorizing people's name and of course, road name and direction! So please do not asked me for a direction.. No offense bro!.. Haha..

Then I started my first time ever lecture, MAT112 Business Math.. First time holding a whiteboard marker was so shocking because I started to tremble! Damn! How to cover it, so I choose to push the marker harder to the whiteboard to reduce the effect of trembling.. Haha.. My first students was part 2 diploma in business study... (This is my first time ever class with them and I think the last because I got a note from Pn Ku about the exchange of my timetable).. So bye2! No more MAT112..

Next class was better, where I started to adopt the lecture's culture.. My other class was Diploma in Account, Diploma in Business Study, Diploma in Computer Science and Diploma in Quantitative Science.. Haha.. So much class I had to attend! 18 hours per week! I teach statistics, business math, and linear algebra lab using maple..

One things I like the most about UiTM was the students are a little bit friendly! Only the weather in Malacca was so HOT that's make me feel very tired and uncomfortable there.. Next
post was something scary happen in my class... Muahaha.. Till next post... -adios-

p/s : Gaji tak dapat lagi siot!

Interview experience

Yeah! 3rd interview already.. Begin from Uitm Shah Alam (This one I already failed! huhu...), followed by Uitm Kedah and Uitm Perak... I wonder why only Uitm called for interview?? I do not know the answer too... Huhu..

First interview at Uitm Shah Alam was like a crap! But since it was my first time interview, I forgive myself (hahaha.. is there any kind of this thing???)... Before I move on, let me explain a little bit about the interview procedure in Uitm (DM45, pensyarah MARA), there are two stages... First stage was about mock teaching where we need to pick a topic and give a lecture for about 10-15 minutes.. There are also some Q&A session after it but mostly it is all about the lecture you give and a little about yourself..

Then if you succeed the first stage interview, you will go to second stage interview where the real interview begin here! Most of the questions are about issues all over the world, issues in Malaysia such as in education field.. I've attend 3 first stage and only one second stage interview at Uitm.. What can I say here is the first stage was easy compare to the second stage... Huhu... Here I give some sample of questions....

1. How do you apply Mathematic in industry, give one example?
2. Why do you choose Uitm instead of Utm (my university) ?
3. How do you proof that you can be a good lecturer?
4. How to apply 1Malaysia concept in Uitm?
5. If there is blackout, how mathematic will help to solve the problem?

The last question was weird one.. I'm not really sure how to answer it.. Huhu.. There are one more interview next 19th October I have to attend.. Wish me luck! Huhu

True experience...

It's been 2 weeks since I've got my first car.. Huhu.. There already a problem.. There are some kind of wierd sound come from front left tyre.. At first I tought it just because of the road but somehow it s getting worse everyday.. The sound at first like "kluk.. kluk" but now it change to "kriit.. kriitt" something like the sound of mice.. Huhu..

So after some discussion with my father, we decided to sent it to the service center yesterday to check the problem... After inspection which take a very long time (I sent the car at 9am but only receive the call at 2.45pm confirming the problem), the sound was actually coming from the front suspension.. I tought it takes only few hours to repair it, until I get the second call from the service center asking me to left the car for another day...

I've started to worry! Is the problem is too much?? Today I need to sent my sister back to Penang.. So, I will not have time to check the service center... Huhu.. Around 2.55 pm today, again I received call from the service center telling me that the problem already solved and I can pick back my car.. Huh! Feel so relived!

After we get back to Ipoh from Penang, me and my mother rush to the service center to pick my car.. Aha.. The problem comes from the suspension spring because the rubber pad on it alreay worn out! Aha.. How come?! Only two weeks of driving with mileage only 2400km, already worn out! Something must happen here... Maybe they forgot to install the rubber pad... Haha.. Whatever it is, thanks to the 5 years warranty, I only pay 3.50MYR for the repair..

Hope there are no more problem after this.. I hope Proton will become more careful about this.. --adios-

Aha.. That's all from me.. If you asked for my suggestion I would say, if you really had more money, go for other brand such as Toyota or Honda instead if Proton or Perodua.. Huhu.. No offense! Because my BLM only 2000km of mileage and now there alread some wierd sound coming from the front tyre... Huhu.. Even my mother and father who had used Proton for more than 10 years experienced the same problem at first until they started to ignore any wierd sound.. HAha.. But the design and the engine performance still ok la..

UTM 43rd Convocation (My 2nd convocation)

Last Sunday (16 August 2009) was my second convocation taking my MSc. Maths scroll.. This time is different from my first convocation, because it was bigger and merrier! I reached at UTM on Thursday evening after 7 hours ride (slow... because my dad asked me to drive less than 100 km/h since there a little bit problem inside the car.. huhu)... My family arrived later on Saturday by bus (8 hours ride because the bus always stop!).. So on Thursday and Friday I stayed on my friend's room in UTM (Special thanks for Geero for giving me a lift for this two days)...

During the convocation, we were asked to wear mask in order to protect from Influenza A H1N1 (good and wise dicision right?).. The person who are giving me the scroll this time was Her Royal Highness Raja Zarith Sofiah, The Pro Cancellor of UTM.. She always smile... Hehe... The ceremony started around 9 am and finished around 11.30 am... After finished the convocation, me and my family went to take a picture of us and then back to hotel... I went back to UTM to take my transkrip and then around 5.30 pm we started our ride home..

I don't know when I will be back to UTM anymore.. Only Allah knows... I would express my gratitude to all my friends here Geero (bagi tumpang bilik), Bazli (g konvo aku..padahal nk g tgk awek die.. haha), Apete (belanja makan), Bobo (bagi buku n installer), Tord(g raptai..haha), Ghazali (information), Jang, Intan, Ummu, Oji, Ann, James(tolong tangkap gambar), Ain, Ita, Anas and many more for this wonderful convocation.. Plus thanks to UTM and all the lecturers and staffs... It's been a wonderful day! Here are some pictures I managed to take before the camera battery flush out.. Huhu...

Influenza A H1N1

According to Ministry of Health, Malaysia (www.h1n1.moh.gov.my) until 9 August, there are 26 dies because of influenza A H1N1 in Malaysia, with 1780 cases of infections all over Malaysia... It is getting worse!

Here are some of the symptons I've read in today's Newspaper - Berita Harian and from Hospital's phamplete...

1. Fever above 38 degrees
2. Cough
3. Sore throat
4. Body Aches
5. Respiratory Problem (sesak nafas)
6. Body aches
7. Diarrhea
8. Shivering and always tired

Somehow I think Malaysian didn't really care about this disease... They still organizing a party or grouping even tough they know that the disease can easily separated in group plus it is getting worse in Malaysia.. So, I hope our government, especially our Prime Minister would react and do some fast and affective action in order to prevent this disease from getting worse!

Why not make it compulsary for everyone to wear mask when they are outside, or maybe just inform us where the infection is getting worse so that we can avoid to getting there.. And of course stop everything that involve grouping so that our beloved Malaysia will becomes a safe place from influenza A H1N1...

For those who had some of the symptons, or just fever quickly go to the hospital for checking.. Our air quality is also very bad right now which also not good for our health.. So, it is easy to get sick (cough and fever) and this influenza A H1N1 can easily attacking our weak body system.. Just keep a healthy and a happy life...

Why everything is so late???

It's been 2 months I've finished my study.. Application for a career (I tried to be a lecturer...) had been sent all over Malaysia except Sabah and Sarawak.. Interview? Only one! (First interview was a mess!) Damn! Why other university just remain silent??? At least call or give some message about my application... All they said was your application is in process... So late... So what I can do... Just wait and wait...

My convocation just around the corner... I think might be on Sunday, 16th August.. However, I still not getting my convocation letter until today! Another late! I've call the university but they said my faculty was having a problem that make our convocation letter was late! Again.. I need to wait and wait.... Hope I will get it this week...

There are some "Thing" i've been waiting for this 2 months.. I should get it last month but they said maybe this month... However until now they also just remains silent! Is it the technique people always do when they cannot fullfilled the deadline?? Haha... So, just wait... Wait.. wait.. and wait..

Local's Fruits Season!

Yeah! As stated on the title of this post.. It is the local's fruits season in Malaysia right now.. Starting from the king of fruit in Malaysia, DURIAN until now continued by RAMBUTAN, MANGGIS (Mangosteen) , CEMPEDAK (Jackfruit) the latest fruits now which are LANGSAT and DUKONG.. Next is DUKU..

Let me introduced some of this local fruits planted by my Pak Teh (Uncle) in Kulim, Kedah.. Firstlt of course, the king of Malaysian fruits, DURIAN... Below is the this Durian's tree (sorry for the low quality of pictures, since I'm just using my handphone...) My uncle actually have 4 trees if I'm not mistaken with one already death after the fruits grow...

Here are the pictures of Durian.. Look nice but sometime people does not like it smell.. Even my mother car still has this fruits smell after almost two weeks... Huhu.. But the taste is superb! Sweet, plus a little bit of bitter.. But becareful of its sharp thorn (duri.. betul ke dlm english thorn???) and also if you eat too much your body will feel hot.. And for those who had a high blood pressure and diabetes, please do not eat durian too much.. Huhu..

Now is the queen of local's malaysian fruits which are MANGOSTEEN or MANGGIS is Malay.. It has a black fruits colour on the outside butthe inside is actually white and juicy.. The taste a little bit sweet and sour.. Some people said that in order to prevent our boy to feel hot after eating durian, we need to eat mangosteen.. Aha.. That what King and Queen is all about! Care for each other.. Hehe... The picture below is the tree...

Next is Rambutan.. This fruits has a fur on its body.. The colour of this fruits is either yellow or red.. Both has an almost same taste.. Sweet and juicy...

There are actually Duku, Langsat and Jackfruit here.. But I forget to take a picture of them.. Thanks for Pak Teh family for the lovely orchids!
