First Interview...

Aha.. After a very long relax, I've got a call from Uitm Shah Alam for interview for a Maths' lecturer position.. The interview was on Monday 22nd of June and I've got the call late in the evening.. Huhu.. What do they have in mind? Why inform about it so late??? I'm not sure about what to prepare since this is my first interview so I've just my friend...

Need to prepare some kind of slide for mock teaching for any topics in Maths (I choose Finite Difference), bring along all the certificate I have.. That's all my friend told me... So the Monday has came! I've reached at Uitm around 6.15am (Haha.. So early! Interview at 8.30am).. After simple breakfast and smarting (ade ke istilah ni??), I went to the Faculty of Computer Science and Maths for the interview...

There, I met some of my friends from UTM.. Huhu.. More rival! There are 32 candidate for a position I think less than 5 (Huhu.. Now, it is getting more difficult!).. So, when my name called, I just went inside the room.. There are three interviewers, a man and two woman.. After a briefing about my personal background and my mock teaching, the asked me to sit in front of them... Now, it getting hotter!

First question was about why I choose a job as lecturer and my answer is because it is my dream job (Huh, what a weak answer...) Second is about what do I do in KDRM during my practical (Here I think I give a good answer until suddenly the asked for my practical report!) OMG first mistake! The third question is about my dissertation which also I can explain it very long but again the asked for the report! Oh no!

And they also asked for my degree report, but I'm not bringing it all! One question that I think a little bit difficult to answer when they asked if I am willing to work in Sabah or Sarawak! With a very full confident and proud I've said I will think about it! Haha.. Why do they want to send us too far away.. So, there I think I might lost this interview... There are other questions but this is the most difficult one..

The most important things I've learned about my first interview is to bring all the reports you have and make sure the university you apply does not have branch in Sabah or Sarawak if You are not willing to work there! Still waiting for the next interview... My mom said she had 25 interviews before she trully got a job (Wow! Awesome!) Waiting and waiting... Hope I will do it better next time!

p/s : To my sister - you are so lucky because as a doctor there are no job interview.. No need to sell your self.. Just wait until JPA called, mock interview and BOOM!! You are now a doctor! So, belajar le rerajin yek!

From Swine Flu to Influenza A H1N1

I'm sorry if there are something wrong facts I've given in this post.. Just want to share my information about the latest disease attacking people all over the world nowadays, influeza A H1N1.. Ok, last night I watch a TV forum on TV9 (Malaysia local TV) the topic of Swine Flu where they discuss in the perspective of islamic view...

What interest me the most is when they discuss how from the first outbreak of this disease they call it swine flu, but now they changed it to influenza A H1N1.. Here is the reason.. At first, the swine flu only attact pigs, where some pigs wil die from it, but at the same time, there exist other flu such as bird flu from the birds which also attact the pigs.. There also human flu which also inside the pigs.. Haha.. Too much things! Now even I having headache..

Simply, pigs have a ability to accept all types of virus from human flu, bird flu and also swine flu and also at the same time, pigs also has the ability to recreate this virus into another types of virus which is dangerous to us human that they called it influeza A H1N1 (this is the name of the disease)... So, the mastermind here is the pigs!

That's why when the first outbreak they called if swine flu, but WHO changed it to a more accurate flu that now they called it inluenza A H1N1.. As we know, the spreading of flu is by the air.. So this is a very dangerous disease! Actually this influenza A H1NA has attack human once on 1918 which killed 50-100 million people (I read it on wikipedia).. So, this disease is back!

In Islam, we cannot eat pigs! In Al-Qur'an also, Allah S.W.T has said many time for us to avoid dealing with this pigs because they can cause many disease since for pigs everything is food.. Even other religion forbid us to eat something that will harm ourself in this case pigs! So, no offense PIGS!

Talking to Yourself...

It's been a while since I do the posting... I'm too busy la plus I do not have any idea what to post... Everyday I wake up in the morning, wash my clothes, taking a bath and then I just go somewhere either to library or CICT(Center of Information, Communication, Technology UTM) just to get internet so that I can continue my research...

But that's not the main topic here... Actually while I surf the internet, I found some interesting articles in Yahoo Health about people talking to themselves.. WOW! Something I really like to do since I was a little... Haha.. What actually the author said about it? Ahaha...

Actually in my opinion, talking to yourself is one way to make you always prepared for any incoming problem, for example if you have a presentation, why not looking to yourself at the mirror and try to talk about your presentation while looking at your face.. Then you ask a question for yourself... This is a good way of talking to your own self...

Another example is, when you are driving alone and you heard from the radio about something that you are not agree, you will respond it by talking to the radio right?? Haha... That's another types of talking to your own self... If you got a problem and you manage to solve it, did you ever thank yourself like "I know I can do it" or "This is easy" or many more depend on your personality...

If you hate some person and you see them, what you always said in your mind?? Haha.. I know! "It's him again" or "Asyik2 mamat ni je dtg menyibuk" or many more... You does not shout it loud but just some kind of whispering to yourself.. But actually now, many people are ok with this kind of talking to yourself...

Sometimes they are talking to the handphone via bluetooth that's make it really look like talking alone... It will really becomes funny if the conversation involves some heavy topics! They sometime talk really loud that other people will hear their conversation... But trust me, this kind of conversation is really boring and uncomfortable.. It is better to have the conventional way where we have eye to eye and face to face conversation..

Not all are good however, if it involve depression and stress, I think you need to see a doctor because sometimes this small things can cause you harm... This is also one way to talk to yourself by blogging... Haha.. Click link below for the original article

Does Talking to Yourself Mean Yo're Crazy?

Chinese Lokam

I just back from Giant Supermarket.. Since it is almost Chinese New Year there are SALE everywhere! However I'm not going there for shopping, just to look around to release tension a little bit.. in fact, I do not plan on buying anything.. Of course since it is Chinese New Year, one of the most "hot" thing is the oranges, they called it Chinese Lokam..

It has the same look as orange, in fact it is orange! But in different race, just like us human.. It has a very soft skin that easy for us to open compared to other type of oranges... There are many types of oranges huh! But the taste is still the same, a little bit of sour and little bit of sweet...

This Lokam is a must have in Chinese New Year celebration.. For them, receiving fresh fruits at the new year is the symbol of new beginning life at the new year.. It is also means luck, wealth and good fortune.. That's why Chinese will bought it,sometimes I think too much for a small family (how they are going to finish it??? I wonder???)..

For me, I like the taste of this Lokam oranges.. How to choose a good one?? I'm not really sure, but my mom once said that her friends told her that, if there are many "riang-riang" (what do they call it in English??? try to look at this picture if you recognize it) that year, the oranges will taste really sweet.. This insect can produce a very loud sound if it is disturbed! But for me, I just pick a carton contains 24 pieces and just pay it.. Haha..


Sometimes I got a sweet one but sometime not.. It depends on your luck! Hehe.. But the one I just bought is sweet (my first try, and I'm lucky!)... Happy Chinese New Year for those who are celebrating! -adios-

Free Palestine

I've got this email from my friends.. Huhu.. Somehow I feel very sad! This really happen in Palestine, a mother and her son... What a TERRORIST Israel was! Killings all innocent peoples without any sympathy...



Can you imagine if you are this boy? What did you expect the last word from your mom? Can you just feel it? I think now, people should reunite and fight this international terrorist.. They want something but they use a wrong way to get it, by killing innocent people! Why people? Why Bush? Bush was once said that USA will fight terrorist as what they do in Iraq but are there any terrorist in Iraq? Nothing right? But now, we can see clearly how terrorist Israel was! So what now? It's time to prove your words! Even all people in this world disagree with Israel killing innocent people, they just ignore it like they are so powerful.. Wait la, one day they will get their punishment, GOD will punish them!FREE PALESTINE!

Hi all! It is still not too late for me to wish you all happy new year! It is 2009 already! Means my age will increase by one year more.. Hua.. Getting older... Ahaha.. Actually today I want to share about something I've found... It was about QUANTUM PHYSICS!

What is Quantum Physics?

Quantum physics is a branch of science that deals with discrete, indivisible units of energy called quanta as described by the Quantum Theory. There are five main ideas represented in Quantum Theory:

1. Energy is not continuous, but comes in small but discrete units.

3. The movement of these particles is inherently random.

This song is about first Muharram where it is the first day in Islamic calendar.. Celebrate by all Muslim to remember the day where the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W journey from Mecca to madina on 622 AD. This song also asked Muslim to always unite in order to create a strong bond in order to fight the enemy..

So, think about our life before, is it good enough for us as Muslim? Are there anything wrong or bad that we do? Are we already asked for forgiveness? Does our pray enough already? How our relationship with our parents? friends? people around us? If you always think about this, you will become good person, even if you are not a Muslim.. Thinks and thinks...

PC Fair 2008

Last Saturday I went to PC Fair at Persada JB.. I am not planning on buying anything, just to look around to see the latest hardware and gadgets.. Of course every time there is PC Fair, it will be too crowded.. Sometimes it feel to anxious/ uncomfortable.. That's why I am not really like to buy anything at the PC Fair.. Plus if the goods you buy damaged, it will be difficult to find the place to claim for warranty..

So, if you buy something at PC Fair, make sure you take the company name, adress and telephone so that you will be not in trouble if something wrong with the goods you bought.. What interest me this PC Fair was there are Toyo Tires booth at the outside.. And of course if there is Toyo Tires there will be a drift car exhibition..

Guess what, there are MAZDA RX7.. Hoho.. One of my dream car! Here are the pictures of it..

There are other two cars, Nissan but I cannot recognize which model.. Huhu.. Sorry.. If you know it why don't you tell me..

That's all for now.. I really hope if there is drift demonstration but, after a long wait nothing happen.. Huhu.. Maybe I just a little bit late..

Posting...

Today I'm already at UTM continuing my study to get my master degree... And also, the result of last semester is out already... Huhu.. This time I got lower result than previous semester plus one subject, Applied and Computational Complex Analysis only got B- (means luckily pass, if got lower than this is fail).. This is a very difficult subject, and the last chapter about CONFORMAL MAPPING is the most difficult one.. Huhu.. Cannot catch up this chapter but luckily my lecturer pass me.. Alhamdulillah... But other subjects are ok.. Jus forget everything and continue with this semester.. For this semester there are no paper only research(dissertation)... I've already see my supervisor, Dr Yek Su Hoe and he already gives me the title of my dissertation...

Pet is sick!

Hi all!! This time I want to share about my pet cat.. We called it Chikki first but now I do not know why it changed to Papin (pronounce it as puppy.. but it is not a dog, it is a cat!).. Born in our house and we kept it because it has a very nice orange fur...

It is a male and of course as a male cat, there always a fight.. Huhu.. That's the reason why he always get sick.. But mostly just a minor injury but last time it was very bad... Both his front legs are bleeding and also it was very weak..( we think it got a fever..).. So we sent it to a veterinar and after the treatment it get better...

That's the old story, but now the same injury happen again.. We think it is not from the fighting because it happen at the same place as before.. Firstly just a small wound but it getting bigger everyday.. So again we take it to the veterinar.. The doctor said the wound becomes larger because he licked it..

Here the funny part.. Because of its bad behavior, the doctor put something looks like a neck guard at him.. He becomes angry and tried to open it but he can't.. The doctor said to only removed it when the wound are heal! So now my pet looks like an astronout! Haha..

Very2 funny, especially, he like to reverse when he reached wall or something.. Can you imagine cat reverse all the time.. Walk front and reverse.. Just looks like a car!! But that's for its own good... The guard will prevent him from licking the wound... Now, he already ok with the guard..

He still needs to take some medication to helps to heal the wound faster.. Now, we now how the wound getting bigger.. Sometimes I wonder why he lick the wound when he know it will make it worst?? Haha.. Maybe because it is animal not like us... So we as a human being must always use our brain before doing something not like animal who only depends on its instinct... -adios-

Renovation in Progress..

Hi all! This time I would like to tell you about the renovation process in my house.. It was already 10 days plus today... Many had changed but there are still lots to do.. But I'm not the one who do it (of course la.. haha..).. A Chinese contractor, Ah Chai (this is their boss) and his workers do this.. What actually were changed?

Hehe.. There were lots, kitchen, toilet, my late grandpa's room and also our backyard of house.. All are combined to create a new one.. The kitchen will be bigger because the old kitchen plus our backyard, toilet were changed completely where we will use shower with hot water, all the wooden frame at the back were changed to aliminium and many more..

My dad also asked to add tiles for the whole kitchen from bottom to the roof and also at the new toilet... There were lots of renovation and that's make the price very high!! RM33K.. Is it cheap or expensive?? Some may say cheap and some may say expensive, but I think it was ok la.. Haha.. Plus Ah Chai sometimes he do everything according to his head that's make my dad sometimes need to do another explanation of what we want actually.. Is it right?? Customers always right so Ah Chai just follow what we want!! Haha...

Aidil Adha n Sacrifice

For this blessing Aidiladha, I would like to tell you about this festival celebrated by all Muslims around the world.. Actually us in Malaysia did not really celebrating this Aidiladha as merry as Aidilfitri.. Why? I also did not know.. Sometimes people just ignore it.. Huhu...

Aidiladha means a lot to Muslim as we remembered the sacrifice makes by our prophet Ismail and Ibrahim where Allah asked Ibrahim to sacrifice his beloved son Ismail.. This was the test of how strong faith they have to Allah... And they willing to do so, and before Ibrahim started to sacrifice Ismail, Allah asked to changed Ismail to a goat (Kibas.. I do not know what this in English)..

That's the history behind why Muslim celebrate Aidiladha every year.. Btw I want to talk about the sacrifice that my mother and father do this Aidiladha... Fyi both the make sacrifice for one part each person for cow... Each cow has 7 parts and each part only cost RM350.. Here are some pictures my mother take during the day...

Toyota Corolla KE30

This time I would like to talk about my father's car at home.. Not the latest but the oldest.. Haha.. Some people said oldskool! Why? Maybe because it is old, but still cool... The model of the car is Toyota Corolla KE30.. Bought long time ago I think around 80s, this car already too old compared to me(hehe.. I'm still young.. haha).. Firstly, the colour was light yellow, than light green, and then light yellow back, and now light blue.. Haha.. too much changes, why? maybe because if it is still the same colour it feel bored.. Hoho..

And here are the pictures inside of it.. But the radio already broken plus also the air-condition.. Before this it works but, I do not know why but it was already broken when I'm home... Huhu..


However the engine still at its top condition! Maybe we like to drive it too fast, that's why the speed meter already broken, even after repair it, it is still broken.. Haha.. The most thing I like about this car compared to other car is the engine pickup! It is really powerfull! Some of my friends said that this KE30 model was once upon a time a race car.. Haha.. Is it true?

Plus my friend's brother use this car to join the drift sport.. From my opinion it was because the old engine where everything was too high quality, the body was strong and many more benefit compared to the new car.. Especially the cheap car.. Haha.. Not to condemned but try it la and you will feel the different..

Busy.. Busy.. Busy...

It's been a very long time since I last post... Huhu.. What can I do.. This semester is a very tough one.. 4 maths subjects! Every lecturers love to give us works! Every week every subjects will have a homework.. It is not just a simple homework, sometimes it takes almost 3 to 4 days just to answer one question... Also I need to stay on top of my game, everyday study.. study.. study.. until bored.. sometimes only I got time to watch some movies not tv series anymore.. huhu... My collection also not improved since last time... Hope that I will survive this semester successfully...

Surround Sound System..

Hi all! Today I would like to share some information or discovery of myself about the surround system.. As I mention before, I used speaker Altec Lansing VS3251 for my PC and also the soundcard Creative Audigy 7.1.. If you played PC games that support surround system you will find the games more interesting (play it loudly but make sure you neighbour not around.. haha)..

Even if you watched a movie from PC you will gain the "cinema like" experience (of course play it loud so you will hear everything clear!)... But, make sure you watch DVD since I'm not sure if CD also support surround... Am I right? Inform me if I was wrong.. And also you must watch original DVD (pirated version will gives a messy sound and sometimes it is not even surround! Just one of the speaker satellite is function.. huhu)...

Some downloaded (here I mean the dvdrip version because it is like a trend for university students to download movie.. Is it also called piracy? Think it yourself...) movie support surround system some not where you will get the same experience as the pirated DVD... So, the best is still the original!

Here is what I want to share about surround music.. I've discovered this website by Bjorn Lynne who gives us a free direct download of surround music created by himself... At first I tought it is just like other mp3 where the sound only stereo (in case of 5 channel speaker it will be played side by side means the stereo is played over each speaker pair).. But I was wrong! It is truly the surround music..

New Semester... New Printer.. New Nothing...

It's been a while since I last posted.. It is because I don't have internet connection at my room.. New semester had just begin for second weeks.. Now, I already had internet connection (wireless.. thanks to Airnet as before... hope this semester the service much better!)... I've just bought new printer since my previous printer Canon i255 was damaged.. I don't know why, but the printer cannot print at all and it also cannot detect if paper was inserted.. So, I had make a decision to buy a new printer.. Canon also (I only trust Canon for printing device.. Don't know why)... PIXMA iP1880.. The color was wonderful! Shining black! And the quality of print was better (of course since canon will improve their product quality.. am I right?) Hope this printer will last longer and I will never used refill or pirated version catridge anymore... Use original! HAHA.. -adios-

Pilihan Raya 2008

Hari sabtu ni akan berlangsunglah satu acara atau peristiwa atau ape-ape la korang nak panggil kt negara kita malaysia ni iaitu pilihan raya... mase ni lah korang akan jumpa ramai pemimpin2 dari mana2 parti sibuk turun berkempen.. apa-apa pun semuanya untuk mengekalkan kerusi yang pernah dimenangi masing2... anyway aku kurang berminat sangat dengan politik ni.. "all that matters is maths and logic".. haha.. poyo sial... okla kepada yang turun mengundi sabtu ni pangkah la calon yang benar2 korang yakin boleh membantu korang... semoga malaysia akan terus aman damai dan mendapat rahmat dari tuhan yang maha esa.. amin...

50 Tahun Malaysia Merdeka...

Lagi beberapa hari lagi Malaysia akan menyambut ulangtahun kemerdekaan yang ke-50.. Kalau nk kira umur manusia, 50 tahun ni dh kira matang la.. dh dekat nk pencen.. haha.. tapi Malaysia takkan pencen pnye.. Malaysia akan terus membangun.. Oleh itu kita kenalah bersatu padu tak kirala kita bangsa apa pun.. Bersatu kita teguh bercerai kita roboh (mak aih.. patriotik giler aku..haha).. Jadi sempena hari kemerdekaan yang ke-50 ini marilah kita bersama-sama nyanyikan lagu kemerdekaan (kalau nk download audio ni click sini.. sound die ok cuma format rm la..boleh convert kan...)

My Final Project...

Just want to tell anyone who interested la.. My project title is Application of Exponential Fourier Series in Signal and Systems problem.. For those who are in electrical engineering field, it might not a new things for you all.. For me everthings looks new and complicated.. It takes me alot of time to understand.. Plus if I found any new formula, it must have been proven.. Huhu.. But I try my best la to understand it.. My supervisor, En Fauzee quiet cool.. Haha.. I think other supervisor might get mad if your progress is very slow, but he still say to me to keep on focus to what I do.. Haha.. Anyway I hope I will finish it the latest is on the 3rd week of september.. Huhu.. quiet a target but I will try my best.. Pray for me also.. thanks a lot for your support!!
